About Linda

Linda is a native Texan and has resided in Waxahachie for over 25 years with her husband.  Linda showed an interest in art at a very young age and started painting more seriously after raising her three children.  Her country surroundings have inspired her in many ways.  She is best known for her chicken paintings.

Linda teaches art lessons at the Ellis County Art Museum in Waxahachie.  She has studied with several notable artists, and has won many prestigious art awards.  She has won the Northlight Art Magazine’s cover contest, numerous Best of Show awards including the State Fair of Texas and the Richardson Civic Art Society Purchase Award and invited to the Southwest Classic Art Show for many years.
